Science Week for Kids

Science Week for Kids

British Science Week is entering its third decade in 2025, and the theme to mark the start of this new era is 'Change And Adapt'!

Changing and adapting plays a big part in science; you can find examples everywhere. Cities, towns, and other areas where people live change and adapt as the world's population grows, plants and animals change and adapt to their surroundings to survive. Technology has changed exponentially and adapted to our new and busier lives.

To mark this occasion SACCO are holding an event for our youngers (suitable for those aged 6 and upwards) which will include growing plants and crystals. Booking via Eventbrite is essential.

The event takes place from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday 19th April at the SACCO Office; 21 Alexandra Gardens, Stanley Road, SM5 4LJ.
